Summary
Gulf Wind Technology is seeking a Wind Turbine Controls Engineer to join our engineering team in Hickory, North Carolina. To help our team grow and tackle new projects, we’re looking for a Wind Turbine Controls Engineer who is excited to tackle new and innovative wind energy technology projects. Specifically, the Controls Engineer will lead the development of wind turbine control methods and tools to optimize turbine and farm performance and reduce system loads.
Job description
As a member of Gulf Wind Technology’s Research and Development Team, the Controls Engineer will play a key role in the aero-elastic design and analysis of new and existing blades. You will have a variety of opportunities to learn new skills while leading projects for customers, leaning into your own expertise to help the team succeed.
